The weather has been GORGEOUS the last two days, highs in the mid seventies (last week we hit 100) with a slight breeze.  Tuesday night the kids wanted to play in the driveway a bit before bed…

After scooter races to the corner they got creative with chalk & cars (I love my kids use of imagination!).

I was told that this is a rainbow tower, it shoots rainbow guns onto bad people.

Do you see the traffic lights at each intersection?!  You can’t quite tell from the picture but under the silver car is a left turn arrow.  He is our future Traffic Engineer.  With all of the questions he asks about how intersections are different from each other & other traffic nuance questions I’ve told him that conducting traffic studies is going to be right up his alley.

While they played, I made a loaf of Oatmeal Banana Bread- my kitchen smelled heavenly!  It was such a nice Tuesday evening…contented sigh….
