tuesday
was a bit unpleasant. first we woke up to this
Then the son’s dental visit revealed cavities, lots of them, despite the sealants- cavities in his not fully erupted new molars. And….his supernumerary tooth? It’s inverted, which means it has to be extracted because it won’t grow in on it’s own. The cost is not even my top concern…my poor boys teeth are just rotting and he’s going to need surgery!! I was feeling so helpless about the whole situation until I talked to my mother.
All along I’ve thought that I fed my kids pretty healthy food…(minus my baking habit) turns out- no! Thanks to my smart mother I learned that a lot of the foods I thought were healthy are not (yogurt for example); they are full of sugars! I now feel like there is something I can do to help my son’s teeth (in addition to the religious brushing we already do). Will also be talking to some family dentists to get their opinions.
husband will be working on the dry wall thursday, he assures me it will be really messy. i’m thrilled.

Sorry. Teeth problems are horrible. Matt had major dental work done when he was three. I don’t know if he has bad teeth still, I don’t think so.
I like the self-portrait.

Oh, the teeth problems! EEEWWW! I feel like I would rather give birth than go to the dentist. I cant imagine how much worse it must be for kids.
I like the last picture too. Love the flowers.

teeth…they’re overrated
just kidding. I have never had the luck of good teeth I’m not sure I have any good ones at all. But thanks to modern medicine or dental practices they all get taken care of eventually

What a beautiful picture of you! Did you crochet that afghan in the middle picture – so pretty. I really feel some people are just more prone to dental problems than others – wonder if it has to do with the strength of the enamel.

We also have had our fill of cavities – no pun intended – and one extraction!! Is that water dripping in the corner or a pet stain?
