Thrifted Friday
Found at a nearby Goodwill with a green tag, and low and behold, green tags were 50% off today!
I don’t typically buy pottery as I am not much of an enthusiast, but I really liked this piece. The aqua color and the scalloped top. I thought it would look great in the new office/sewing room. After I bought it I realized it was MARKED!
From what I could gather from limited googleing- this is real pottery and could be old (although I don’t think it is too old). It does show some wear on the tops of the scallops. Are their any pottery people out there that can tell me more?

I’m not a pottery person that can help you figure out anything about it, but I do agree… the color is fantastic.

I too am not a pottery person – may be worth visiting the local library andhaving a look there. The colour is great and such a nice shape too. I’m having a giveaway on my blog if you want to pop over and have a look. Have a good weekend x

On my dresser I keep a tray full old ashtrays and fun pottery like this one. .for organizing my jewelry, loose change, etc. I know nothing about pottery, but Bargain Betty (me)says 2 thumbs up to this extra cute thrifted piece!
