Things That Made Me Happy Today
I’ve had a hard time today shaking this grouchy, grumbly feeling; so I decided to make a list of all of the things that made me happy today.
1. wearing vintage to church today. the brooch is really an old button from my grandmothers collection, as are the faux pearl earrings. the leopard purse was my great grandmothers (a little sad that my feet are too big for the matching heels).
2. rearranging the furniture in the kids room
3. reading vintage hardy boys on the couch and falling asleep
4. home made brownies (WAY better than any box mix). recipe here.
5. the kids liked (and ate) the Pad Thia i made for dinner (recipe here).
6. knowing that in a half hour i can watch Master Piece Theater.
What made you happy today?
