Thankful
I have MUCH to be thankful for…which of course includes this handsome napping man on my couch- and the three adorable offspring he helped me create!
BUT- the thing that jumped to my mind while making pies (pumpkin & cherry, thank you very much) was how very grateful I am that football has no place in our holidays. I am so happy that our thanksgiving feast is NOT planned around bowl games.
Today I will appreciate the lack of football, I will bake, I will clean, I will sweep, I will get anxious, I will close my eyes in panic and wish the stress of the day were gone, and I will sit down with much family at my own table and be grateful for ALL of it, and grateful to share it!

I am so envious of you! No football? You lucky girl! My husbands entire family was here and the only time the TV was off was to eat our gigantic dinner. We dont all get together often and it was hard to enjoy each other with the TV blaring in the back ground and all the men glued to the action in the game. I wanted to throw the gravy bowl at the TV!
