Summer Vacation

oh yes it did

To celebrate the last day of school we…

Had a picnic at the park, bought teacher appreciation gifts here (who doesn’t like macarons?!), went swimming

Had a great dinner at Joe’s Farm Grill, I don’t know why we don’t dine there more often.  It’s great to eat good, local, food while my kids happily do this:

On the way home we grabbed some fresh cherries and vanilla ice cream (I know, I am so boring…).

seemed like a fitting end to the academic year.  Now, if you’ll excuse me I have to brace myself for having 3 kids home all day every day….

okay, i think your hot weather looks much better than my rainy rainy world. i think i’m jealous! and seriously, we don’t have anywhere that cool close by to eat at! it all sounded like a fab way to end your school year. we just hope we will get out of our sweatshirts for the last day of school!! we don’t get out till june 16th so we have a couple weeks to hope it gets warmer. (crossing fingers.)

Ack – I heart Joe’s Farm Grill also. Same goes for Joe’s BBQ. While the food is good, I adore the atmosphere even more.
