Sprinkler Systems
Since he was oh, 3 maybe, my son has loved sprinkler systems. The way they work, the way they are laid out…all of it. Recently he has helped his Dad replace parts of our yard sprinkler system and he can’t get enough of it. My husband had they great idea of helping him build his own sprinkler system.
They made this together out of PVC pipe, valve’s and sprinkler heads (not pictures as he took them off to connect our play sprinkler to the ends). This unit just threads right onto the hose, he loves turning the valves to get the water to flow in different directions!
After completing the yard sprinkler, he used his Lego’s to build another system. This one is complete with traffic lights and garages!
This is the command center where you turn everything on or off.
I’m guessing this man, who is driving out of a lifting door garage, is the maintenance man. It took him about a week to complete it and at that point I got tired of it taking up so much space (and knowing if I said nothing it would still be sitting there come Thanksgiving), so we I decided it was time to deconstruct. I promised to take lots of pics to document it before it was deconstructed. He’s excited to start all over again!
I tell ya, whomever invented the Lego….pure genius! I can’t tell you how many of our summers have been sponsored by Lego!
