Sody-Pop
..that’s what my Dad always called it when he was trying to be funny.
I had it on good authority that I could purchase Caffeine Free Dr. Pepper locally at Pop the Soda Shop. After dropping the older daughter at preschool we made the “trek” out to Scottsdale.
Holy Moly, I’ve never seen so much soda in all my life! Wall to wall, floor to nearly ceiling- full of bottles of soda. And, hiding behind some boxes was my much desired Dr. Pepper. My pantry is now stocked with two 12 packs, which ought to last a while. I also take comfort in the fact that I no longer have to wait for Sara to take trips to UT to purchase my drug of choice.
Because their selection was so large we could not confine our purchase to just the Dr. Pepper, we branched out and reached for soda’s that tickled our taste buds. My husband and daughter had the blueberry soda with their lunch and I look forward to trying the Vanilla Cream…who doesn’t love a soda with a hula dancer on it?
They also stock some old 80′s favorites like Jolt, and Yahoo! If you are in the area, it is well worth the trip- and you can feel good shopping local.

I LOVE the Pop Shop!!! My favorite bottle is that of Leninade. I say bottle because I’m not a huge fan of the soda itself, but I do love a good pun. Glad you enjoyed your visit!

For the few times I’ve been to the Arizona Beer Fest, I have to say the Pop Shop was always my fav. vendor. I looked forward to the fun refreshing sodas they had to sample. Bummer that I never got to visit the actual store.

I would love to go there but it probably is good thing I don’t live nearby as I would want to visit frequently.

I love POP! We go there weekly, since it is only two miles from my casa. My personal faves are the barrel brothers root beer, the spiced cider, and the gale root beer. mmm good. Derek always makes fun of me cause I stick with the “boring ones” and he ventures out, but I am quite content with the ones I get

My little brother loves to visit that shop. He always finds the coolest drinks. Glad you could find your much loved DP!
ps-thanks for the crown PDF. they were a hit in this house of boys. We didnt cover them with glitter, of course, but they sure were fun! thanks again!!
