Pin Board

Have you heard about Pinterest?  It’s everything I thought tumblr would be and more!  It is my virtual inspiration board mixed with my bookmark tool bar!

My feedreader was full of flagged posts that I wanted to remember for some reason or other- a recipe to try, and image I liked, a sewing project that looked fun etc.  Problem was, I was never scrolling back through to find those flagged posts, I would flag them and forget about them.  NO MORE!  Now, I pin them!  If you use firefox or opera or safari (if you are still using IE- please download firefox!), there is a button you can add to your toolbar, so when you find something to pin, you just click that little button and voila- its done!

The image is then saved and posted on my pin board with a link back to the original site.  I love it, I can keep track of who (or where) it was that inspired me.  The pin board is visual, so I can see right at a glance, no scrolling through posts (or weeding through my bookmark folder!).

There is a waiting list to join Pinterest, so head over there and sign up (i only had to wait about a week), and then if you want, you can follow my “pins”. Heather Hales Designs was too long, so I went with h2designs (my friend jaylee is always calling me h-squared).
