Optomistic
They day started out so well, I woke for an early morning feeding to hear rain outside my window. I love the sound of a soft rain. The son got up and was completely ready for school by 7:30am (unheard of!!). After getting him off to school Aaron and I (he had the day off today) took the girls on a walk…
The day ended with me in tears, mopping spaghetti sauce of my dining room floor and feeling copious amounts of self pity. Not good.
BUT, the floors are now clean, the kids are in bed, the husband is home (he helped a family move this evening) and the mentalist is on tonight…perfect for the 3 laundry baskets of clean clothes I need to fold.
BTW- in need of some fun spring skirts, feel like I have looked EVERYWHERE and have found nothing. Anyone recommend a place where I can find cute colorful skirts for $30 or less?

My Wednesdays are usually like that since Bryan has YM and Adam goes to school earlier, so our day starts earlier making me think I should be more productive. My goals for The afternoon and evening are usually to not loose my patience and temper and if I can have the boys in bed before Bryan gets home, I am happy. Hope tomorrow is better, well your morning sounds about perfect so topping that would be pretty impressive.

I don’t know if you have the time but I find picking fabric and a pattern more option filled than buying ready made clothes.

took “the girls” on a walk. Awww, how sweet does that sound? Congratulations again – If I lived close I would come over and mop your floors for you!!

I love how honest your blog is. It is helping me get more mentally prepared for baby #3. You are so great.

Good luck with the skirt. I hope you post something if you have some success!

I have found a few great deals at Old Navy in the last couple of weeks…all their clearance items were half off the clearance price! My youngest daughter wants to wear skirts all the time so I bought her two for $2.50 each! Also, I just purchased the wrap-up skirt pattern from Wink Handmade and LOVE it!

It was really easy to make and didn’t take much time. Best wishes to you, I’m so glad your baby is feeling better.
