Oh, Monday
When the forecaster mentioned that you were going to reach 115 today, I knew I was beat before the day really began.
Finished all the dresden plates, bought the sashing print today….the goal is to complete the quilt (for baby) this week! I also added a bib to the shop today
There are only 2 things you can really do when it gets this hot. Find a pool and hit Sonic Happy Hour.
After the pool, I had no desire to cook dinner. So I took two squirrely kids and one 18 month old to Denny’s…BY MYSELF. Anyone who dines in public with a toddler deserves a medal of honor I tell you!

WOW! First to the temp, it’s still June! And second to taking 3 kids (one being a toddler) out to eat not at McD’s. And I wish I could sew right a lot now, I guess I have to wait for school to start. I hope you post a finished photo

love the dresdens! and yes, you deserve the medal! i’m avoiding going out with my 2 year old at all costs. the other day i got 5 steps into the grocery store and she threw herself to the floor screaming….needless to say we didn’t get any groceries.
