Nimble Fingers
Despite my absence my nimble little fingers have been stitching away. I seem to have caught some sort of bug which has rendered me quite uncomfortable. I’ve kept on with my stitching and am feeling quite a bit better today.
I finished a small baby gift for the shower this evening, thank you all for the ideas. I also decided to stitch this giraffe pattern on the last set of burp cloths for Frances Vintage.
Also of exciting news, my new books came! And Oh are they pretty! The Sew Pretty book is just candy for my eyes! I’m inspired and ready to make a birthday gift for my Grandmother, and I’m wishing I had a place to use the small wool felt rug!
I loved the details in the apron book- the little personal histories of aprons and their wearers. I think I need this apron book now, all those vintage patterns in one place!

The giraffe is so cute - can just picture it being worn which I think is a good sign.

If that Apron book is the one I think it is, there should be a clothes pin apron in there. I think it is way too cute and practical. And, it has an area for embroidery!
