New Tote Bag
I decided that my Aeropostal bag had seen too many days and that it was time to get a new tote. As luck would have it I found myself at the fabric store this afternoon to pick up my recently serviced Elna. I grabbed a few fabrics headed home and sewed them together (note to self, you really do need an interior zippered pocket).
I emptied out the old tote (blue one) and reevaluated what I need to be carrying for the new bag (the brown one). Sorry about the poor pics, it is 11pm at night and nary an ounce of natural light.
Look at all the crap I was hauling around! I do not have any idea how that sweet and low packet ended up in my bag?!
The Timeless Treasures fabrics (it is lined in a creamy grey-ish blue) looked so cute in the store, but now that it is made up I think it looks like a fall bag- not a spring-y bag. I guess that means I’ll have to carry it and all my stuff back to the fabric store for something a little more spring-ish.

The sweet & low? Hmmmm … any bitemarks on it? I found a sugar packet in my purse recently also … with bitemarks on it that were the size of a 3 year old girl child’s teeth … ha ha. : )

Look at it this way - you go back to the fabric store for spring fabric(and when is buying more fabric ever a bad thing?), make another tote, and then when fall comes you already have the other one made. You must be a girl scout because you have everything you need in your bag!

I LOVE the new tote. I would have a hard time not carrying around that cute bag until Fall.

I have the exact same package of wipes, the same hand sanitizer, and the same bottle of lotion in my own bag. The hallmarks of a mom purse!

You carry as much rubbish about with you as I do! My justification is that I am bound to need it at some point, but it still doesn’t make things easier to find in a hurry!
