Guess who is starting to sleep from 7pm-4am without waking?!!!  I could not be happier (or more rested for that matter).

She has also finally joined the ranks of those who can sit unassisted!  My other kids were sitting up and crawling by 7 months. but not her.  Which I suspect is mostly my fault (mommy guilt?), as she is the third child and has spent most of her life being shleped around in my arms, her car seat or asleep in her bed.  We spent a lot more time at home with the other kids and therefore they got more tummy time, which I think made a differnece.  Poor third child….

I do so love her.  We both woke up early this morning and the house was quiet while everyone else slept.  We lounged in bed, me admiring her sweet little face- she using her hands to tightly grasp any part of my face that she could reach.  We practiced our grunts and our consonant sounds.  I marvel at her absolute adorableness.  I am prone to tell her she is so sweet I could just eat her up, to which my 5yo replies, “mom, you’re not really going to eat her are you?”
