The daughter watched Earth this afternoon (great documentary BTW).  I was in the sewing room stitching to Coraline when I went to check on her and found this:

I tell ya, one of my favorite parts about sewing is making gifts.  If I didn’t have to make money to feed my fabric addiction I would make things and give them away all the time!

This pillow was very easy to make.  I whipped up 9 yoyo’s from a charm pack and tacked them on to muslin.  It’s a simple envelope style cover, which means she can take it off and wash it!
