Mars & Venus

Thank you for all your kind words on yesterdays emotional vomiting (my husbands words) post.  I appreciate it and feel sheepish for being such a drama queen.  I would have deleted it, but by the time I was rational again it had already propagated to everyone’s feed readers and by then, what would be the point?

Anyway, I went about appreciating my day today and looking for all of the good (and there is a lot).  One thing that made me smile is this:

boys

Boys, with common household objects (see: ruler, capri sun box and books), can turn your living room into an indie 500 speedway.

girls

Girls, are happy to be spectators at the speedway and quietly draw pictures of zhu zhu pets.

We had a really nice night as a family today, one I’ve tried to commit to memory.  Here’s to many many more.

we had a zhu zhu pet talent show the other night, that wound up being a combo of your boy and girl play. don’t beat yourself up — you are allowed a meltdown, at least you made it to the end of the day. i was contemplating one at 9 yesterday morning…!
