I’m tagging along on my husband’s business trip this weekend. We’ve been planning this for a while and my 7yo refers to it as our “romantical kissy smoochy trip”. Cracks.me.up.every.time.

It’s been 5years since we’ve taken a trip alone together. Fifteen years with this guy and I still get giddy about spending time with him!

I’m looking forward to some good sushi, uninterrupted dinner conversation, holding hands, exploring a new city, the ability to think without distractions from little people. Simple pleasures!

The littles are safely wrapped in their Grandmother’s sugar laced arms. I think they might even have more fun than me!
