In Transistion

I thought if I could get through Halloween things would calm down.  They didn’t.  Yesterday was spent moving furniture and sewing machines around making room for baby hales (who, btw, finally has a name!).

In between meetings, work assignments, book signings (not for me, we’re going to get cookbooks signed by the PW),& girls night my in-laws are coming to visit this weekend.  Sadly, I won’t be able to spend much time with them, but I get to watch my FIL do a weather presentation at my sons school!  The kids questions last year were a total crack-up!!

Did I mention?  I got a summons for jury duty, when I will be 37 weeks pregnant.  Apparently I can’t get out of it, I have to at least show up for the first day.  I really do long to serve, but being a SAHM to young kids is simply not conduisive to jury duty.

I got a jury summons for 3 days after my due date. Ya think I can get out of that one?!

Are you going to share your baby’s name? I thought by committing to stay home that life would calm down, it hasn’t and it doesn’t seem to be for at least 2 weeks and then Thanksgiving is shortly after that. For Jury Duty they don’t have a box to check that you take care of someone during the day? That is the box I mark.

Hi Heather! You are a busy lady! I had jury duty within a month of Bob last year. I didn’t have to go in after all- there is a number you call the night before to see if you have to show. Bob had to go in but was released by the afternoon. Did your sewing/crafting desk move out of the spare bedroom into the hallway? I love the white desk.
