In Progress
A lot of things are “in progress” right now, I wonder when things will fit in the “completed” category? Here’s is the latest in a long string of not-yet-finished projects:
The design is inspired by a vignette I saw on this japanese fabric from Amy’s photostream.
I spent this morning running around for supplies to put together the embroidery kits for this friday’s class. Cuteness doesn’t come easy to me, so I would love some ideas on how to cutesi-fy the kits….I bought some cellophane bags and thought I would design some cute fold over paper to use to staple the bags shut…but that is where my ideas run out. Send ideas, or pictures please

I think that would be super cute … use red paper on the top and maybe a bit on the bottom of the bag to look like the gumball machine – trim with scalloped scissors. Add a small handful of gum balls for added whimsy, and you may just have yourself a winner.

You can use brads to close them maybe? Cuteness doesn’t come easy to me either, I envy those who do it so easily.

I’ve been meaning to come over and give a huge chuckle that we both know Kim! How funny! I was at her house looking at her packs of vintage clothes and dishtowels and I said, “I have this adorable blogging friend named Heather who would LURVE this stuff!” and we figured out it was YOU!!!!
HEE!!!
Miss you sweetie. We should bribe you to come to Utah to see us!
