Dear Utah,
If you find a set of keys, 2 car keys, one key fob (is that what those auto door locker things are called?), 3 house keys and one Post Office box key- on a silver key ring with a green & blue venetian glass (my one remaining souvenir from Rome) flower mosaic…. could you please mail it to me in Arizona?
In all of my 31 years I have NEVER lost my keys. In fact I am the finder, the knower of where things are, in my family. I am baffled by how this happened. Everyone keeps telling me if this is the worst thing to happen on our trip I’m doing pretty good. Might be true…but I’m still frustrated!

Oh, that stinks! I lost DHs church keys once … the master #1 keys that open everything … not good. I lost them for nearly a year. I had searched, prayed, pondered, searched, prayed more and frankly given up and then one day I found them - in our bedroom on the floor. I hope the same thing happens to you. I’ll let you know if they turn up on our bedroom floor. I’m convinced there’s a key portal in there - a very slow one.

OH NO! I would be frustrated too! How are you getting home? Maybe you should consider taking up residency there instead of going home to that terrible heat!
Good luck!

Losing something meaningful or important is one of the worst feelings in the world… I really hope it turns up for you, or, if not, you come to terms with it quickly! I’m still occasionally seized with remorse over something of my daughter’s that we lost nearly two months ago. Not a good feeling at all.

I hope you find them. I hate loosing things. I don’t loose very many things but while we were at Legoland yesterday, there was a lady there who had lost a kid (or kids, I couldn’t really tell since I was eavesdropping) and I could just feel the panic around the situation. Within about 10 minutes (which probably felt like eternity to her) she was the on the phone and they had found whoever was lost.
