Dear Mr. Hales
after 4 days, 700 some odd miles, one u-pick
one visit to pumpkin city,
a trip to the beach- with sunburn included
a walk around the Irvine Spectrum,
and a trip to Powell’s
and 6+ hours today in a car with your slightly-less-than-cute-today children, I am so ready to see you! Also? I LOVE you for vacuuming the carpets and cleaning the kitchen so that I could come home to a clean house.

How great to come home to a clean house, that is the best. You could have had the best vacation ever but if you have to clean when you come home it makes you want to go back on vacation.
I haven’t been to Powell’s before, maybe I should go. (I also have not yet been to Sprinkles, I know “GASP!” but I just don’t go to Newport…maybe your next visit).

It looks like you had a great time in my neck of the woods. I think fall is the best time to go to the beach. I usually try to avoid the beach in the summer because all the tourists and inlanders are crowding them. I’ll probably go kayaking later this morning or tomorrow. Gotta love fall.
I hope you come home to a clean house.
