Burning the Midnight Oil**edited**
**stop the presses** I went out and bought a bunch of these boxes, what do you think of this for packaging?
12:03am Tuesday Morning
I spent all day monday working on the ornament kits for the FREE Domestic Bliss event this Saturday. You can come visit Santa, eat yummy snacks and purchase an ornament kit from me and we can sit down and sew it together- or you can take it home for later (I’ve included instructions)!
I’m feeling pretty good with how the ornaments turned out. Not so much though with the kits. The paper bags looked way cuter in my head than they turned out.
Do any of you amazing crafty readers have some alternative ideas? I’m pressed for time this week as I am also sewing for Crafeteria on Friday; so it should be cute, but easy to assemble!

The ornaments look so cute! What if the bag were white and the stamped snowflakes and ribbon red? Fold over more of the bag (say 3+ inches), and try using ~3/8″ wide ribbon – the widest you can find of the $.50/spool ribbon). I think this over more and email you any other ideas I have. How many kits are you making?

Well, you know I love all of your stuff but I was looking at the bags and thinking, yes, maybe I smaller size and maybe instead of ribbon, you could stitch the tops closed with your sewing machine! I like that idea and might just incorporate it into some gift giving wrapping myself.

You could use rafia to tie the bags instead of ribbon. I also think you could fold the bags down more. Maybe stamp the cute snowflakes along the bottom too.
The ornaments look really cute!

I like the new little boxes. Yes, a new bow on top would be cute. Those little white boxes are classic and pretty easy to spruce up.
And those ornaments are adorable. I want to make 100 for my tree. They remind me of my grandmas old school tree with all homemade decorations. Very cute!!

I think a shorter bag. And the stitching with the machine is a great idea. But the bows are cute too. You could do both.
I have Christmas music playing trying to get in the mood to clean so I can decorate. Now that I have seen your ornaments, I really need to get going and today is the first day I haven’t been gone all day, so I should get off and get cleaning.
Good luck with the packaging.

The boxes are it. Simple and clean lined.
