Last August they started the year with trepidation, would they like their teachers, would their friends be in their classes? She worried that first grade would be too hard. I sent them off with high expectations- perhaps even unrealistic for them.
The year progressed and we all grew, our perspectives shifted. They thrived in their own way, they were challenged, they worked hard and overcame. I learned to see their unique strengths, I set my expectations to their own abilities and helped them to see their success.
Ten months later, here we are….
stronger, happier, more relaxed and ready for all the summer adventures we have planned!
