babers

things on my mind:

  • my older daughter has nicknamed the baby- “babers”
  • i feel like i am producing enough milk for 4 babies…my one has already gained a pound in one week…buttermilk, that’s what it is.
  • mommy guilt+hormones=not a good combination
  • giving my older daughter enough attention
  • learning from my son’s teacher that his approach to school work can be summed up with “I don’t care”.  feeling extremely stressed about this.
  • loving the Serena & Lily sling that georganne gave me
  • according to the pediatrician it’s RSV and Flu season here…
  • feeling like i haven’t been able to connect with my husband since the baby was born…i miss him.

The first little while is so hard, okay all the time is hard but you get used to it more. Try going on a date, I know easier said than done. I know a couple people in your area that would love to babysit a baby girl. Or you could come for a visit and your older ones can entertain, I mean, play with my boys while I snuggle your little girl.

I would come over and babysit for you so you can have time with hubby or time with the other daughter :)

Please tell me she doesn’t actually have RSV and you just mentioned that in passing….Hannah came down with it Sunday night and I’ve been worried since we just saw you Friday.

Oh it is SO hard after a new baby is born isn’t it? Hang in there sweetie, everything will fall into place eventually. Having 3 has really thrown me for a loop. Smell that baby and give her snuggles for me, okay? And hang in there Mama.

Awww – so feeling you! “This too shall pass…” It’s already begun to get better with my 7 week old. Thinking of you and your family!
