About

red

My name is Heather.  I like yellow houses, all yellow houses.  I like nearly all things vintage and have a bit of an over active imagination about how glorious post WWII America was.   In theory I’d love to wear heels, dresses, lipstick and pearls everyday, in practice I have a hard time getting out of my pajamas.   I don’t care much for eggplant & and despite all my planning I am usually late to everything.

I am a mother of 3 great kids, and a wife to a great man (who prefers that I don’t mention him much online!).  We live in the desert, where most of the year it is hot and brown.  I love to bake and am always looking for an excuse to bake a cake…so let me know if your ever in the area!

In between driving the afternoon carpool, copious amounts of laundry & diapers I am a freelance designer.  I’m self taught, thanks to some time at the Kansan & my friend Lori who asked me to be a part of her website post college.  I got hooked on photoshop, which naturally led to illustrator.  I’m still learning, but I LOVE the creative outlet & the amazing people I’ve been able to work with.  You can see some of my work here.

If you want to know even more about me, these kind and wonderful people have interviewed me, at The Baby GardnerFeeling Stitchy and Jackalope Ranch.

I sell a lot of my creations:
