And I reported to Jury Duty today.  Yup, I stood before the judge and politely told him that I really needed to be at home with my 2 kids and that my husband should be saving his vacation days for this soon to be born baby.  Either way, the jury was selected and I was not one of them.  Which is really a bummer because I sort of want to serve on a jury….this just isn’t a good season in my life.  Hopefully when my kids are older and can be home alone for a few hours I will get called to serve.

yum.

Because it was so yummy I had to photograph my lunch.  Not because I think the nice folks on the interwebs really care what I had for lunch, but more as a reminder to myself.  You see, I have a fast food problem…I’m not so much a fan of the food (although I do like El Pollo Loco’s BRC- thanks Karin!) as I am of the convenience factor.  It is soooo much easier to swing by the drive thru while out running errands than it is to come home and- gasp- make something.  I love cooking big dinners, but lunch, eh, it’s just a pain.  This photo represents the yummy fresh foods I can quickly make for myself- and no drive thru involved- both my husband and my health will thank me.

And…just for fun, if you are going to be near a TV tomorrow (thursday) morning, you can see my Father-in-Law talk about severe storms on GMA.  He is totally the famous one in the family!

    Mmmmm…I want lunch right now!

I understand about jury duty. I’d like to do it, too, but I’ve had to decline 3 times now. Just so long as it’s not too gruesome, I’d like to see how it all works. Maybe someday!

You are welcome. I have a problem too, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays- and this week, Wednesday too- since I practically live in my car from 11am to 2:40pm.

Now I think I need to make a sandwich since I was good today and packed a lunch for the younger boys today but forgot about myself.

I have to ask, because I’m pregnant too and that sandwich is making me drool, did your doctor tell you you shouldn’t eat deli meat? Because mine did, and yet I haven’t run across very many other mothers who were told that, and ohhhhhh how I miss turkey and ham!
